Base fee:
  • This ticket is for paddlers who are new or recently started paddling, progressing to paddling competently in a straight line and getting confident with a wet exit.
  • This ticket is for paddlers who are more experienced, able to control a craft and looking to progress with more advanced skills, often during a paddle trip up the river and back.
  • This ticket is for paddlers keen to paddle in an open canoe and wish to hire a boat from the Club. IF BOOKING AS A COUPLE, THE SECOND BOOKING SHOULD BE 'Open Canoe without Boat Hire' ticket type.
  • This ticket is for paddlers keen to paddle in an open canoe and will bring own boat.
  • This ticket is for paddlers keen to paddle a trip in a sea or touring boar and wish to hire a boat from the Club.
  • This ticket is for paddlers keen to paddle a trip in a sea or touring boat and will be bringing own boat.
  • This ticket is for paddlers keen to paddle a SUP and wish to hire a SUP from the Club.
  • This ticket is for paddlers keen to paddle a SUP and will bring own SUP.

SUMMER EVENING paddle to The Corbet Arms , ideal first club trip !

This is the event booking for anyone  whose enjoyed the summer Club night in kayaks, open canoes, SUPs, sea/touring boats and racing boats - you will be asked your preferred craft and paddling experience in your booking.

Its essential that you arrive on time at The Weir, as we need to organise a "shuttle." 

The trip is about 1 -2 Hours and may be getting dark at the get out. If you have a head torch, please bring it. 

The get out is quite steep and may be slippery, please wear suitable footwear

I can arrange transport of club kit to the start and pick up at end,if you dont have means of transportation,  but this must be by prior arrangement  07801833044 Andy Brooker. 

If any non paddling parents etc, wish to join us at the end and assist with lifts, that would be great.

Suitable for adults and for juniors (generally 11 years old plus)  



Feel free to hang around with us at the end of the session for a bit of a social, have a or beer  or soft drink at the Corbet arms.

If required a craft, paddle, spray deck, helmet and buoyancy aid can be provided by the Club for £10.00 charge, payable at booking. No refunds or transfers of booking payments are available for cancellations made on the day of the event.

Please bring warm, non-cotton clothes or a dry suit / wet suit for paddling in, footwear for paddling in (essential), water proof jacket and warm change of clothes.
