KIDS PADDLESPORT SUMMER EVENINGS AT FRANKWELL

Shrewsbury Canoe Club is excited to offer paddlesport evenings at Frankwell, Shrewsbury on Monday evenings throughout the summer, starting on the water at 6pm, please arrive at least 15 minutes before to sort equipment.

Suitable for kids aged 8 to 16, we'll provide the boat, the paddle, the safety kit and the coaches to make it fun and exciting, learning paddlesport through games and engagement. Plus an opportunity to make new friends, and have the best time on the water.

A really fun event to come and give Paddlesport a go - kayaks, open canoes, SUPs, Polo and racing boats are possible options.

Parents are required to remain at Frankwell throughout the session, and are welcome to join us on the water. Kids cannot at any time be left in the sole custody of the Canoe Club in case your child wishes to get off the water before the end of the session.

Feel free to hang around with us at the end of the session for a bit of a social, have a cuppa or a bring a beer with you!

A charge of £4 is made for kids aged between 8 and 16 years old to cover the cost of boat and equipment hire. There is no charge for coaching or leading. We encourage families or juniors to become Club members after a couple of sessions with us.

No refunds or transfers of booking payments are available for cancellations made on the day of the event.

Please bring warm, non-cotton clothes or a dry suit / wet suit for paddling in, footwear for paddling in (essential), water proof jacket and warm change of clothes.
