With currently no Monday evening club paddle planned due to bank holiday, I thought it might be nice to get out on the river for a social paddle for those that are  free.

Plan - meet at frankwell / container for a gentle upstream paddle to the showground beach for a picnic/ snack.  If people need to hire boats I’ll make sure we can access the container.  Please turn up 15 mins early if you need to borrow a boat.

This will need to be a peer paddle as I will have two children with me, so you will need to be self sufficient and capable of a flat water paddle. If you’re bring children you will need to be responsible for them on (paddling with them) and off the water. I’m planning a slow paddle (maybe even towing the youngest) so again with a peer paddle feel free to travel at your own speed. 

Main aim to have fun, smile, enjoy the river together!!!  Families welcome!!! Everyone welcome!!! 

if the river levels significantly rise, I’m likely to cancel due to suitability of paddling with children.
