Shrewsbury Canoe Club - Kayaking in surf, on rivers, & canoe polo - Composit banner picture

Shrewsbury Canoe Club focuses primarily on the recreational side of paddle sport and also has an active kayak polo section and a growing interest in flat water racing.

The club prides itself on introducing both children and adults alike to the various forms of paddle sport in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The club aims to keep its costs to members as low as possible to keep paddle sport accessible to as wide a range of the local community as possible.

Although we do not at present have any Stand Up Paddleboards in our fleet, if you ask we can arrange to have some available on our Monday night river sessions.
