Quarry – Decision due in the next few months?

Following the successful public meeting in September & the public rally in support of the Quarry pool in October – here’s a summary of what’s been happening.

As the decision will be taken by Shropshire Council Cabinet, only a few of whom represent Shrewsbury, if you want to keep the pool in the town, then please write to your Shropshire councillor, or the town MP, Daniel Kawczynski before the council takes a decision we might all regret.

Here’s more info on the options being drawn up for the future of public swimming pools in Shrewsbury.

Annual membership is £20 for individuals, £35 for family, & £15 for youths.

You can join via the secure membership site and there’s also a Facebook group where a bunch of Shrewsbury & Shropshire-based paddlers hang out.
